We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our operations in Dallas, Texas. In this key role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming goods, ensuring they are properly documented and stored. Your duties will include unloading delivery trucks, inspecting incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies, and accurately entering received items into our inventory system. This position is fundamental to our logistics chain, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills. We seek reliable individuals committed to upholding our high standards of safety and operational excellence. Experience with shipping/receiving or inventory management is preferred. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to be a crucial part of our supply chain. We provide a structured work environment and prioritize safety above all. Proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety procedures are mandatory. Key responsibilities include:
- Unloading incoming shipments from delivery vehicles.
- Verifying received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspecting items for any damage or defects, reporting issues as necessary.
- Accurately recording received items in the inventory management system.
- Tagging and organizing received merchandise for storage.
- Coordinating with other departments regarding incoming deliveries.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.
- Operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed to support logistics flow.
This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. A good understanding of basic logistics principles and inventory control is beneficial. We are committed to creating a safe and efficient workplace for everyone.
