Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Raleigh, North Carolina! This role is vital for the efficient functioning of our distribution center, ensuring products are handled correctly from receipt to shipment. You will be involved in various warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to all company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), are essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Sort and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently to ensure product safety during transit.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and other vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all established Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear and use all required PPE, such as safety vests and steel-toed shoes.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Support the broader logistics team in achieving operational goals.
- Engage in regular Lifting of goods, typically up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting.
- Basic knowledge of Logistics principles is beneficial.
