Our growing logistics team in Washington, D.C. is looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate. This role is fundamental to our operations, involving a variety of tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. We are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and all associates must strictly follow safety guidelines and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick products accurately according to customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch and load vehicles as needed.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilize all required PPE, including safety vests, gloves, and footwear.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep and support logistics functions.
- Perform tasks that require significant Lifting, moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Commitment to Safety and the consistent use of PPE.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including frequent Lifting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics.
