We are currently hiring Order Pickers for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipping. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be trained on our picking systems and equipment. Accuracy and speed are key performance indicators for this position. We require all associates to adhere to our stringent Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves standing for extended periods, walking, and the ability to perform Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing or other downstream processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through diligent picking practices.
- Meet established picking performance standards and deadlines.
- Keep the picking area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and wear required PPE .
- Operate pallet jacks and other hand-held equipment as needed.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
