We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy warehouse in Richmond, Virginia. This role is central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to meet productivity targets while maintaining high standards of quality. Familiarity with scanning equipment and warehouse order systems is beneficial. This position requires physical dexterity, the ability to work on your feet for extended periods, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. We emphasize the importance of wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to all Safety protocols. This role involves considerable manual dexterity and the ability to perform Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory locations using order sheets or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Meet established picking and packing performance metrics.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and utilize required PPE .
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within our logistics hub.
