Join our expanding logistics network as a Forklift Operator in Fort Worth, Texas. This critical role ensures the seamless movement of goods within our warehouse. You will operate forklifts to safely and efficiently load, unload, transport, and stack materials. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-shift equipment inspections, maintaining an organized workspace, and strictly adhering to all safety regulations. Our commitment to safety is paramount, and all team members are required to wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a forklift operator, possess a valid certification, and demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse operations. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, possess excellent spatial awareness, and are dedicated to maintaining a secure and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, and reflective vests.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Report any operational issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
- Physical ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and situational awareness.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
