We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator for our facility in Provo, Utah. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement and storage of goods within the warehouse. You will operate a reach truck to move inventory, stock shelves, and assist with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, safety-conscious, and possess excellent spatial awareness. A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport palletized goods.
- Place and retrieve inventory from various levels of racking systems.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes, ensuring accurate placement of stock.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of the reach truck and report any malfunctions.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and logistics procedures.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes, vests, and eye protection.
- Assist with lifting and moving of items as needed during warehouse operations.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Valid certification or demonstrated proficiency in reach truck operation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning abilities.
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
