We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations in our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This key role involves managing daily warehouse activities, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth execution of logistics processes. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to minimize risks and accidents.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory, and productivity.
- Facilitate lifting and moving of materials as needed, ensuring team follows safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to develop and implement effective safety programs.
- Capacity for lifting and moving heavy items (up to 50 lbs) when required.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Commitment to ensuring the team consistently uses required PPE.
