We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our distribution center, handling a variety of tasks related to inventory management and order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to detailed specifications.
- Stage products for shipment and assist with loading trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system updates.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow all established company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Reliability and a commitment to punctuality.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires consistent physical exertion, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift. Candidates must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Training on proper lifting techniques and body mechanics will be provided to ensure safety.
Safety and PPE:
Your safety is our highest priority. You will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves. Comprehensive training on warehouse safety, hazard recognition, and emergency procedures is mandatory. Adherence to all safety guidelines is crucial for maintaining a secure and productive logistics environment.
