Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our operations in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and control. This position requires a keen analytical mind, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management systems. A strong commitment to Safety and the correct use of PPE is essential. You will play a key role in ensuring that our inventory data is precise, which impacts ordering, fulfillment, and overall operational efficiency. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with a background in inventory management or a related field seeking to advance their careers in logistics. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory aging and turnover.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient inventory flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory-related transactions.
  • Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and promote a culture of Safety, including ensuring proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to Safety and proper PPE usage is mandatory.
