Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from inventory and prepare them for shipment, ensuring that customers receive the correct products in excellent condition. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Utilize scanning devices or pick lists to identify and retrieve items.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear and use required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
