Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process shipping labels and documentation.
- Verify order details against shipping manifests for accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide status updates as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing packages to ensure proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain organized shipping records and filing systems.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers.
- Assist with receiving and general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including shipping software and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.
- Ability to Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Understanding of Safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
