Join our vibrant warehouse team as a Shipping Clerk in Orlando, Florida. This role is fundamental to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, which includes verifying order details, carefully packing items, creating shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers for pickup. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and good communication skills. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and all employees must adhere to established Safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE . Some tasks may involve moderate Lifting . This is a great chance to be part of the essential Logistics infrastructure that supports our business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for carrier pickup.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documentation.
- Generate shipping labels and required paperwork.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Follow all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE , such as safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
- Support the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
- Handle special shipping requests and instructions.
