We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our expanding warehouse operations in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is paramount to the effective movement and organization of materials within our facility. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional forklift operation skills, a strong adherence to Safety protocols, and the ability to contribute to a productive logistics environment. Your expertise will be vital for maintaining workflow and preventing delays.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, stack, load, and unload goods.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and Safety.
- Transport inventory between various warehouse zones, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring timely and accurate handling of shipments.
- Support inventory control processes by accurately stocking and retrieving items.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, complying with all warehouse Safety regulations.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently throughout the shift.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives and ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable forklift operation experience.
- Valid forklift certification is mandatory.
- Experience with various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform moderate manual Lifting, up to 50 lbs, when necessary.
- Deep understanding of warehouse Safety standards and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding logistics environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
