Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving and dispatching goods, verifying shipment contents against documentation.
- Organize and stock inventory within the warehouse, utilizing available space effectively.
- Prepare orders for shipment by accurately picking items and packing them securely.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely to move materials.
- Conduct physical inventory checks and contribute to inventory accuracy.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed by supervisors.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues promptly to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Must be able to handle physical demands, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
