Are you ready to be a key player in the logistics operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma? We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our warehouse, involving the movement, staging, and organization of materials. You will work closely with various departments to ensure inventory accuracy and timely processing of goods. A strong focus on Safety and the correct use of PPE is non-negotiable. This position requires physical stamina, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
- Move materials to and from production areas, shipping, and receiving docks.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear all mandated PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support overall logistics and operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform manual lifting of up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with material handling equipment and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
