You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing solutions to maintain optimal inventory accuracy. Your expertise in logistics and inventory management is key to preventing stockouts and overstocks, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. We emphasize a strong culture of Safety, and all team members are expected to adhere to protocols and utilize provided PPE. The role involves regular physical activity, including lifting up to 40 pounds, and navigating the warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., receiving, shipping) to resolve inventory issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and proper use of PPE.
- Assist with the training of new team members on inventory procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 40 pounds).
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
