Job Summary:
Our Kansas City, Missouri facility is seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This is a critical function in our logistics process, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work with pick lists and RF scanners to efficiently locate and retrieve inventory. A keen eye for detail, speed, and a strong commitment to workplace safety are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
  • Use RF scanners to track inventory and confirm picked items.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping containers.
  • Label packages correctly for shipment.
  • Stage completed orders for outbound transport.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and the warehouse floor.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
  • Ensure appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
  • Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity targets.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good manual dexterity for packing and handling items.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and willingness to follow all protocols.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
