Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move pallets and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate placement of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from storage locations, including racking systems.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as order picking or packing.
- Ensure warehouse aisles and rack areas are clear and accessible.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
- Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required, including occasional Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
