We are actively recruiting a Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. This role is crucial to our order fulfillment process and contributes directly to our **Logistics** network. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are paramount. You will work with scanning devices or pick lists to ensure the correct products and quantities are processed. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key part of the job. We place a strong emphasis on **Safety**, and all employees are required to follow strict safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant walking, standing, and moderate **Lifting**. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order slips.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company **Safety** policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct and consistent use of PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent **Lifting** of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic Logistics workflow is advantageous.
- Commitment to workplace **Safety** and willingness to wear required PPE .
