As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, storing, and organizing materials and products throughout our facility. This critical role ensures the efficient flow of goods, supporting our overall Logistics and production efforts. Your duties will include operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining an organized inventory. A strong emphasis is placed on **Safety**, and you will be required to follow all established safety protocols and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves regular physical activity, including significant **Lifting** and moving of materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move goods.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Store and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all company **Safety** guidelines and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or **Safety** concerns immediately.
- Ensure proper use of all mandated PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Experience with manual **Lifting** of up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and warehouse flow.
- Commitment to workplace **Safety** and adherence to wearing PPE .
