We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and transporting inventory throughout the warehouse. This role is vital to our overall operations, ensuring a smooth flow of goods within our Logistics network. You will operate various types of forklifts, adhering strictly to all operational guidelines and **Safety** procedures. A keen awareness of your surroundings and the ability to navigate safely in a busy warehouse environment are crucial. Proper handling and storage of materials, as well as performing routine checks on forklift equipment, will be part of your daily duties. We maintain a strong commitment to employee well-being, requiring the consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant operation of heavy machinery and may require some manual Lifting of smaller items. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport inventory to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including some manual Lifting .
- Ensure all operations comply with Safety standards and the use of PPE .
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Strong understanding of forklift maintenance and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and willingness to wear required PPE .
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
