We are seeking dependable Warehouse Associates for our growing facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a wide range of essential warehouse functions that support our logistics operations. This includes receiving and storing goods, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently. You will contribute directly to the smooth operation of our supply chain and help us meet our commitments to customers. We prioritize a safe working atmosphere and provide thorough training on all procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Pack items securely, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to wear all necessary PPE.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
