We are looking for a certified Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics hub in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods within the warehouse, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position requires a keen awareness of your surroundings, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We value skilled operators who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to workplace safety. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure seamless workflows. Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily inspections of the forklift and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Follow traffic patterns and safety guidelines within the warehouse.
- Ensure accuracy in product handling and placement.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs when necessary.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
