Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct daily activities of the warehouse team.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate execution of receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and feedback.
  • Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Operate and oversee the safe use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage staff scheduling and workload distribution.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and updates.
  • Assist with problem-solving and conflict resolution within the team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all warehouse tasks.
  • Oversee proper lifting techniques and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain principles.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends if needed.
  • Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
