Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced logistics environment? Our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility is seeking a Picker/Packer to join our dedicated team. In this essential position, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your day-to-day tasks will include locating products within the warehouse, picking the correct items and quantities, and ensuring they are packaged securely and efficiently. You will also be involved in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of your work area, contributing to the overall smooth operation of our logistics center. Adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the application of safe lifting techniques to handle merchandise. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, possesses good organizational skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Use safe lifting techniques when handling products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
