Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan! We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. This role involves a variety of tasks crucial to our logistics efficiency, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and preparing items for shipment. You will be responsible for unloading incoming inventory, verifying its accuracy, and placing it in designated storage areas. For outgoing orders, you will pick items accurately and ensure they are packed securely and ready for dispatch. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment is paramount. All associates are required to strictly follow safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and possess good attention to detail. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is beneficial, but we are happy to train enthusiastic individuals. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock received items in designated locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks.
- Utilize safe lifting practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
