Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the logistics sector? Our busy distribution center in Miami, Florida is seeking energetic Warehouse Associates to join our team. In this vital role, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment and shipping. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading trailers, accurately inspecting and receiving incoming goods, and efficiently storing inventory in designated locations. You'll also play a key part in picking items for customer orders, packing them securely, and preparing them for dispatch. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace is essential for productivity and compliance with safety standards. We emphasize the importance of adhering to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not required, as we provide comprehensive training. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload merchandise from trucks.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages and shortages.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock rotation and location management.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities.
- Utilize safe lifting practices to handle goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capacity to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
