Join our vibrant warehouse team in Sacramento, California as an Order Picker! This position is central to our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient retrieval of products for customer orders. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive the correct items in a timely manner. Responsibilities include using scanning technology, navigating the warehouse, and preparing items for shipment. We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities:
- Select items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners to track picked items and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Stage orders in designated areas for packing and shipping processes.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
