As an Order Picker, you will use state-of-the-art technology, including handheld scanners, to locate and gather products for customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all team members to adhere to strict Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience with order picking or in a warehouse setting is advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or electronic orders.
- Use handheld scanners or other devices to track picked items.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking goals.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good understanding of warehouse layouts and inventory systems.
- Familiarity with Safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Team player with good communication skills.
