Our Cincinnati, Ohio facility is hiring Order Pickers to join our dedicated warehouse team! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient selection of products to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for reading order sheets or using scanning devices to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves. Your attention to detail ensures that the correct products and quantities are gathered, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong emphasis on workplace safety, and all team members are required to follow established safety protocols and the correct use of PPE. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to work accurately at a steady pace, and a commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Locate products efficiently within the warehouse.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against order details.
- Prepare picked items for packaging and shipment, ensuring they are handled correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet daily productivity goals for order picking accuracy and speed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties, such as putting away stock or cycle counting.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless logistics flow.
- Perform occasional moderate Lifting to access or move products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations is beneficial.
