We are looking for motivated Picker/Packers to join our Fort Worth, Texas warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves and packaging them for shipment to our valued customers. This is a key position in our logistics operation, ensuring that orders are fulfilled with speed and precision. You'll use scanning devices to locate items and ensure the correct products are selected. Following selection, you will meticulously package items, ensuring they are protected during transit. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain accuracy, and adhere to safety standards is paramount. We are committed to a safe working environment and expect all team members to follow established safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to meet daily targets. Teamwork and a positive attitude are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requests using handheld scanners.
- Verify picked items for accuracy in product type and quantity.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipping, using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outgoing logistics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and assist in maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, such as assisting with put-away or cycle counts.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform occasional moderate Lifting as part of the picking and packing process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
