Job Summary:
Our San Antonio, Texas facility is seeking a diligent and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse stock. This critical role ensures that our inventory data is precise, leading to efficient operations and satisfied customers within our logistics network. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and possess a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies. Your efforts are vital to minimizing stockouts, reducing waste, and optimizing warehouse efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across the warehouse.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Process inventory adjustments and transfers within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage and loss.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations and other departments to resolve inventory issues.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
  • Assist with tasks involving Lifting and moving inventory as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to wear and use required PPE.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks including occasional Lifting of inventory.
