Our logistics company is looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You'll be working with a variety of products, and your accuracy directly impacts customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Label and stage packages for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle continuous Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Understand and follow general logistics workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or similar role is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
