We are seeking reliable and hardworking Material Handlers to join our bustling warehouse in Dallas, Texas. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our facility. You will be involved in receiving, storing, and preparing items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and you will be expected to adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This physically demanding position requires individuals who are capable of consistent lifting, bending, and standing throughout their shift. We offer a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to be part of a growing logistics company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Sort and organize inventory according to established procedures.
- Pick and pack items for outgoing shipments.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
- Must wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
