This role is hands-on and involves a variety of tasks crucial for efficient warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. You will play a key role in ensuring that our inventory is accurately managed and that customer orders are fulfilled with precision and speed. Our commitment to safety is paramount; you will be trained on and expected to adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical fitness, including the ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all established safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long durations.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines precisely.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles is beneficial.
- Must pass a background check.
