Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our busy warehouse in Sacramento, California. This role is essential for the efficient flow of goods into and out of our facility. You will manage all aspects of receiving incoming shipments, including unloading, inspecting, and documenting products, as well as preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. Accuracy, organization, and a commitment to Safety are paramount. You will play a key role in inventory management and ensure that all products are handled with care. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and can work independently or as part of a team. We emphasize a secure work environment and provide all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to safeguard our employees during all tasks, including those requiring substantial Lifting. This position is an excellent entry point into the broader field of Logistics and supply chain management. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Enter receiving data into the inventory system accurately.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and staging.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintain an organized and clean shipping and receiving area.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
