Our expanding logistics operation in Salt Lake City, Utah, is searching for a dedicated Order Picker. This critical role involves accurately selecting and preparing customer orders from our warehouse inventory. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the correct items promptly and in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong commitment to workplace safety. - Picking customer orders from designated shelf locations with high accuracy.
- Utilizing RF scanners to track inventory and confirm picked items.
- Carefully handling products to prevent damage.
- Transporting picked items to the packing or staging areas.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Participating in inventory counts as required.
- Wearing and utilizing all mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
