About the role

Step into a high‑impact role where you’ll keep cutting‑edge pharmaceutical manufacturing running at peak performance. As a Senior Process Maintenance Technician , you’ll take the lead on complex troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and technical problem‑solving across solid dose production lines. You’ll drive improvements, mentor technicians, and play a key role in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient operations in a fast‑paced GMP environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead advanced troubleshooting and repairs on GMP manufacturing equipment; interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings; mentor technicians; and document all work in the CMMS.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance (including vibration analysis and thermography), provide technical input on equipment upgrades and modifications, and support achievement of maintenance KPIs.
  • Ensure full compliance with GMP, OSHA, and site safety standards; lead development of risk assessments, LOTO procedures, and confined space protocols; and represent maintenance in audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Drive reliability and continuous improvement by leading RCA investigations, implementing corrective actions, and partnering with engineering and management on capital projects and reliability initiatives.
  • Train and mentor technicians across all levels while supporting operational readiness and overall equipment performance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The experience we're looking for

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology (or equivalent experience); bachelor’s degree or industry certifications preferred.
  • 6–10+ years of maintenance and reliability experience in regulated manufacturing, including predictive technologies and reliability‑centered maintenance practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with OSD equipment (compression, granulation, coating, packaging) and background in solid oral dose or liquid pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Practical experience working with PLCs, automation, and control systems, along with routine use of Microsoft Office, SAP, CMMS platforms, and reliability analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated experience leading audits, supporting capital projects, and representing maintenance on cross‑functional teams, with a history of managing multiple priorities and interpreting safety policies and maintenance documentation.

US salary ranges

Hiring range:  $37.50 - 47.00 DOE

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
