EisnerAmper is on the lookout for an AI Platform Solutions Architect to act as the technical backbone in our AI evolution, overseeing the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of the EisnerAI Platform. This critical role aims to accelerate our objective of deploying 1,000 AI agents by designing and optimizing the infrastructure for everything from intelligent tax preparation to innovative audit workflows. The ideal candidate will benchmark and assess LLMs, implement AI and data governance into the platform's framework, prepare executive-quality reporting, and fervently drive cost and performance optimization throughout the AI stack. This position, reporting to the AI Development Lead, is of high importance and visibility, sitting at the crossroads of architecture, AI engineering, and strategic operation. A significant aspect of this role involves mentoring and nurturing talent across various organizational layers—collaborating with IT infrastructure teams, AI Advisory services, and functional business units to enhance platform fluency and AI capabilities across the firm. Key Responsibilities Design and expand the EisnerAI Platform on Azure, creating core data, application, and agentic layers to support growth toward over 1,000 AI agents.
Establish AI governance policies (NIST AI RMF, PCAOB, Section 7216) into actionable platform controls, automated compliance checks, and governance-as-code pipelines.
Act as a technical mentor and cross-functional leader, enhancing AI platform capabilities across IT, AI Advisory, and engineering teams.
Drive AI performance engineering across the firm's LLM ecosystem—benchmarking models for accuracy, latency, cost, and quality to inform model selection and routing strategies.
Develop and maintain a real-time AI performance monitoring framework tracking metrics like hallucination rates, retrieval precision, user adoption, and cost-per-interaction.
Optimize prompts, model settings, and routing strategies to enhance output quality while minimizing token use and overall platform expenditures.
Manage AI costs across Azure AI Foundry and associated services, employing intelligent model routing, caching, and token budgeting to consistently reduce cost-per-agent.
Guarantee that all AI deployments adhere to regulatory, risk, and firm data governance standards before going live.
Provide executive and board-level dashboards that communicate AI performance, adoption, and cost metrics, translating them into compelling business narratives.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of experience in cloud platform architecture, infrastructure engineering, or AI/ML platform development.
5+ years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure services (AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Cosmos DB, ADLS, Purview, AI Search).
3+ years of experience in evaluating and enhancing LLM systems in production settings.
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Cloud Architecture, or an MBA with a technical focus is preferred.
Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure AI Engineer Associate are advantageous.
Experience with data platforms including ADLS Gen2, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse/Databricks for analytics and data engineering.
Familiarity with AI search and retrieval optimization techniques.
Experience with compliance and governance tools like Microsoft Purview and data lineage frameworks is valued.
Skills in monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor and Power BI.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C#, TypeScript, SQL, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Expertise in DevOps and MLOps practices.
Background in managing cloud cost optimization initiatives with proven outcomes.
Experience mentoring teams across various functional areas, including IT and advisory.
