Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Kansas City, Missouri location. This critical role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management systems, which is vital for seamless **logistics** operations. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing inventory control procedures. Maintaining a **safety**-conscious work environment is paramount; adherence to all **safety** guidelines and the proper use of **PPE** are mandatory. While the role is primarily focused on data and analysis, it may require occasional **lifting** and moving of inventory. We are looking for individuals with exceptional analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse management principles. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with accuracy.
  • Maintain and update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Uphold strict **safety** standards and **PPE** protocols.
  • Support **logistics** team with inventory reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with occasional **lifting** and moving of inventory as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of WMS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving occasional **lifting** up to 25 lbs.
  • Deep understanding of **safety** regulations and **PPE**.
