Our Distribution Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team. This role is essential for the smooth flow of goods from our center to our customers. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including receiving inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. We emphasize a safe and efficient working environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and store inventory in its designated location within the distribution center.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Properly use all required PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Support overall logistics operations and team objectives.
- Handle items requiring moderate to significant Lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high accuracy.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and the use of PPE.
- Experience with basic Logistics tasks is a plus.
- Capability for consistent Lifting of goods.
