Join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within our warehouse. This role is critical for the efficient movement of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations in our busy logistics environment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Prior experience operating various types of forklifts is essential. A keen awareness of your surroundings and adherence to all Safety regulations are paramount. We require all operators to use the appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves significant forklift operation and may require some Lifting of items not suitable for forklift transport, up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers accurately.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use, reporting any issues.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE , including safety shoes and high-visibility clothing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors regarding material handling and logistics.
