We're looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our busy warehouse in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and carefully packing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our logistics process and requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. We maintain a high standard of Safety, and all employees must adhere to protocols and wear appropriate PPE. The job involves continuous movement, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Verify order accuracy against pick lists.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Follow all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear and properly use all assigned PPE.
- Assist with inventory tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Capacity for repetitive motion and manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Dedication to Safety and proper PPE compliance.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
