Are you a motivated individual looking for a fast-paced role in Austin, Texas? We are hiring an Order Picker to join our growing logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our distribution center's success, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods. You will be working with a diverse range of products and must be able to navigate the warehouse using RF scanners or pick sheets. We prioritize Safety above all else, and all employees are required to wear appropriate PPE. The position involves significant walking, standing, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to track picked items.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities before staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
- Capability for lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Adherence to all Safety protocols and proper PPE use.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
