We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. Your role is crucial to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that goods are transported accurately and on time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be handling a variety of materials, so attention to detail is paramount. We pride ourselves on a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets, boxes, and other materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform manual lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
