You will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders, packing them securely for shipment, and ensuring they meet quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documentation before sealing packages.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and surrounding area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies with orders to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Proficiency with RF scanners and basic computer systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
