Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and racking systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with operations staff to identify potential equipment failures and implement solutions.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Respond to emergency repair requests promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or electrical systems are a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Experience with heavy Lifting and material handling equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a secure work environment within our logistics hub.
