Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders and report any discrepancies.
- Sort, organize, and stage outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external partners.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and adherence to guidelines.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety protocols.
