We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, unpacking, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and orders.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding PPE usage and safe Lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Commitment to Safety and operational excellence.
